Wildflower : Neomarica caerulea (Yellow Walking Iris)

Neomarica caerulea (Walking Iris, Apostle plant) can seen in various places here. It's a good plant for pond landscaping. Its one of the flower planted in StarHill KL.

There are approximately 15 species of Neomarica found throughout the tropical Americas. The genus name "neomarica" means new 'marica', which was the name originally applied to this genus until it was discovered the name "Marica" had already been used to define another genus.

Family: Iridaceae

Sun Exposure: Does best in part shade, but will tolerate full sun. Requires plenty of moisture.

Water: Average Water Needs; Water regularly; do not overwater.

Propagation Methods: By dividing rhizomes, tubers, corms or bulbs (including offsets)
